At CDB, we are proud that our Registered Dental Assistants are also licensed by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners to place protective dental sealants, monitor patients receiving nitrous oxide and perform coronal polishing (part of the "cleaning"). Not all RDAs can boast these certifications, so know that your loved one(s) are in the hands of experienced, licensed, caring experts.

Kelly Cody
Director of Operations
Kelly is a native Texan; growing up in a town called Boerne in the Texas Hill Country. She spent 20+ years working in many facets of the dental industry. She has worked just about every position in a practice from a clinical assistant to business manager, she worked for the University of Texas Health Science Center- San Antonio Dental School Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Kelly was also the Business Manager of a Multi-Specialty Medical and Dental facility in New Mexico and worked in dental sales for a Swiss Company that specializes in oral hygiene products and education.
Kelly Spent most of her career operating her own dental consulting business which took her all over the US to work with 100's of dental practices of all types wanting to be more successful. This is what led her to Beaumont.
Dr. LeeAnn McQuade had been a long time client of Kelly's. They have worked together since the ground was broken for Children's Dentistry of Beaumont and it quickly became a home away from home for her. Kelly works as the director of operations and sometimes you can even find her filling in chairside and interacting with the children.
Kelly now resides in Beaumont where she spends her time visiting her two adult children, showing her horses in various western performance events, raising mini Australian Shepherds and Maine Coon cats and even a few foals each year. She is also a board member of Tri City Corvette club and has a classic c3 corvette you might see her in once in a while. Her love and passion for animals is as great as her love for dentistry. If she is not in the office she is definitely outside cruising the back roads or working with her animals.
"My passion has always been with dentistry and healthcare; I love working with children with special healthcare needs! I grew up in this field and could not imagine doing anything else. Taking my education and creating a career in a field I am so passionate about has been a dream come true- My greatest reward is to help someone achieve a goal, work through the pain of change and watch them grow," said Cody who has also completed training in communication, behavioral psychology, mediation, leadership and effectiveness.
